Abigail Cowgirl, or as we call her, Abby, is the first dog of Tin Star Border Collies. She is 6 years old, and has done a wonderful job of raising many litters! She is extremely loyal, smart, and agile. I started her on stock training years ago, and she did very well with the training. Although she is getting up in years, she still likes to help me with the animals. Her favorite game ever since she was a puppy has been tug-o-war. She also enjoys hide-n-seek, fetch, or a good ol’ rub down.
Miss Adelaide, or Ally, is Jack (see stud dog page) and Abby’s pup from their 2014 litter. She is a wonderful little girl with lots of personality; she is very sweet, friendly, and loves to learn new things! She will hopefully start raising her own pups in the fall of 2016.

Mary, one of Abby and Jack’s 2012 pups, was part of Tin Star Border Collies for 2 and a half years. She raised one beautiful litter of 5 pups by Hoss (see the stud dog page), and second to Abby, is the most amazing dog I have ever owned. People say dogs are man’s best friends. Well, I’d say they can definitely be a girl’s best friend too because Mary sure was to me and will always hold a special place in my heart! I wish she could still be part of the family here, but I know she has wonderful home now and is well-loved by her new owner.
